Improved security with Amazon-managed root and administrator access
I watched as a massive effort was undertaken to hack several of my websites in February this year. I took all the logfiles and behaviour I observed and sat down to work out where security holes might have been. I use Cloudinary to generate product thumbnails on the fly and to make things like progressive banner images. In the past those thumbs or processed images have sometimes been "sticky" and taken a while before updating. That is not a problem any more. Everybody with a TimelineCMS stand-alone website can run an on-line store. This update has the following changes:- brands with icons
- variations of products with prices adjustments
- better pricing management
- different prices for logged in users - yes, that means you can have trade prices as well as normal retail prices

Easier addition of Facebook albums to website pages
Now all you have to do to add an image gallery to a page is copy and paste a photo album URL from Facebook into the editor and TimelineCMS does the rest. Thumbnails and lightbox popups are automatically generated, and if the photo has a description it will be added as a caption. Adding pictures to your website has never been easier.Improved Collection management
Collections in TimelineCMS are anything you want to group together and add to a page. You manage the collection separately to pages or posts and attack them wherever you want. Step 1 - Copy and paste the url of the image gallery into the admin for the page you want it to appear on:
Step 2 - That's it. The images are automatically added to the page, thumbnails are automatically generated, and a lightbox automatically appears with the picture description at the bottom when a thumbnail is clicked.
